My high performance epoxy Mal noserides like a dream.

I had a good look at a mate's new Banks 7' twin pin.
It was an epoxy board with carbon fibre cloth. One of the best boards I've seen. My mate is very hard on boards but this one could last a long time even though he's a full time surfer here who goes through a lot of boards

Not sure, I'll look closer next time, its got a lot going on with it. But I think its a carbon strip. He's a good surfer, spent 10 years surfing around Porto and another 10 here.
I'll ask Jim what's going on with it, is it a one off or a likely future?

That's it, maybe the exact board.
Edit: No it's not, that one is a thruster.

I saw on the Surftech sight that Kym Thompson is making boards with a similar construction.

Ahhh bugger. Must have missed that. Met Kym a few times in the 80’s and had one of his boards. Lovely bloke.buddy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 7:51 pm*siteBeanpole wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 7:45 pmI saw on the Surftech sight that Kym Thompson is making boards with a similar construction.

Vietnam is fcuking hairy on the roads. Not to mention super congested. Bangkok is as crowded but they drive way harder in Vietnam.
