I think summer trade and cyclone swells always favour NENSW and SEQLD.
southern NSW has a really persistent onshore pattern.
we've had much lighter winds up here.

Now now, Steven ... don't go telling pork pies, there's been quite a few flattish days and lots of Greenoughesque baby food days too.steve shearer wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 2:47 pmhasn't been a day smaller than head high here for months.
See what happens when you continually talk up your local ... word gets out and the big kids want to come n play.

Re: La Nina 20/21
talking about northern nSW as an area, not "my local".
me and Coops just making friendly conversation in a little forgotten corner of the internets.
no need to butt in Yuke unless you have some comment to make on La Nina.

Go easy on Yuke, he still has a touch of the trots
Re: La Nina 20/21
Maybe my expectations were too high. This pattern just seems like a good summer for SEQLD but pretty much normal swell-wise for most of NSW with a couple of extra junky head height E swells and more rain.steve shearer wrote: ↑Sat Feb 06, 2021 7:34 amI think summer trade and cyclone swells always favour NENSW and SEQLD.

I saw Kirra was pumping yesterday.

Re: La Nina 20/21
been so consistent here.
5-800 metre point surf on offer at the Pass every single damn day this summer if you can handle a crowd.
never seen anything like it.

Bit of a tards wind down here this morning. Despite reading 2.1m E @ 10 sec, its relatively flat.

The Pass has got to be one of the easiest places to get a wave in a crowd, if you have any sort of sense about you.steve shearer wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 7:35 ambeen so consistent here.

Was planning on heading North before the Easter Rush but might have to give it a rain check I’m afraid.
