JD for sale
Looking to offload my beloved JD. Combination of injuries, lack of fitness and lack of time (which contributes to the first two) means this is a bit wasted on me. It's dims are 6'4", 20 1/2" and 2 5/8". Has the full JD tech going on and due to this doesn't even have a pressure dent after 12 months. Looking for $850.
Here's hoping there isn't a surf-off at Bungan coming.

Re: JD for sale
Loofy's 6'+ and 90kg isn't he? Be a good size.
My JD fish is too much foam for me, ( first one, and I was 7-8kg heavier then ) though it really doesn't seem to have a negative effect. On occasion in some waves there's too much float under my chest as I'm paddling in, and it floats up out of the wave, but it only happens on occasion. Once up and going it's not an issue at all.

Gee that's a nice board
Re: JD for sale
EPS core yes?
The workmanship is outstanding on those boards.

Nah, decided it's a keeper. I made more time and worked on my fitness and sorted my neck and shoulder with some physio.Drailed wrote:Is this still available?
Also decided it's not a board for all occasions. I ride it mostly as a quad now and only if it's offshore/clean. If it's choppy or onshore, the EPS doesn't really handle it.
It's a good part of the quiver, but also need a regular glass board for less than average conditions.

Re: JD for sale
Is that a step up ? You normally surf smaller boards don't you?Legion wrote:6'4" x 19" x 2 1/2" but I'm on the opposite side so it makes it all a bit hard.
Re: JD for sale
Looks like a good step up for my 77kg. I've never ridden sub 19 1/2 before so it would stretch me. Are you in WA are you?
