I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

No.
But he was close when he said Trev would drown.
Got one monster on the head after an hour or so which convinced me it was time to go in and take some photos.

well it's still powering here today, longer gaps between real sets and that easterly swell is visible every now and then. Had a mad surf on the 6’9” ten channel, that thing is like a tow board.

Steve, your mate that got rescued, was he doing the paddle from boulders to get out at the point?
Just trying to make sense of it because the footage looked like it was around those shag rock cliffs.

I haven;t spoken to him, but my understanding is he got caught by a big set, leggy snapped and the current sucked him over to the cliffs before he could get to the beach. He was surfing Boulders, not the Point.
yeah. he climbed up on shag rock.

News report (NorthernStar, I wouldn’t take their word for it) said he had his board with him on the rock.

I was staggered by how many kooks on shitty boards paddled out today.
um, yeah that epoxy 5'10" is gunna work great in full throated 8-10ft point surf. Not.
