Re: Just general surfing stuff
Long experience has taught me that behind your outspoken opinions usually lurks a hidden fear. I’m just trying to help you. I’m guessing that you think that trailers are a bit yummymummy? A bit bearded wanker? And yes, they are all that but they also help you carry fairly prodigious loads over long distances. Holding it under your arm is fine if you’re only going walking distances but it’s a bag of shite if there’s a wind or a hill or you need to signal your intentions to other road users etc etc etc

Used to ride 6miles into a roaring southerly with a 9'3" mal under my arm to get to Snapper after school.
Piece of piss.
No gears either.
I get a sore bum riding a bike now.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Re: Just general surfing stuff
I encourage all Realsurfing cyclists to start taking their board to the beach in a child's bike trailer thingy. They must also wear a hi vis vest and have an Ariel with a fluro flag on it......and a bell of course.

Might be the solution to your parking woes beans
Re: Just general surfing stuff
Under the arm? You sit on the nose. This is best method*
* I have not actually tried this on a bicycle, but it works a treat on a motorcycle.
Maybe fold your towel up as padding over your seat, that should work.

It was a pre bike rack thing in Bali, but it's come back into fashion a bit lately. It's surprisingly comfortable and easy to do. No wind or stability problems at speed either.
Just have to make sure you don't try to stand or shift your butt though.

how's this rate for an ol' cnut GeeEss?
managed over about 3 hrs last fri night/sat am. the distance is a return cycle.
the steps on a dancefloor.
fcuked if i can understand the flights measured.
i wasn;t high.
maybe the sea level rise up to oxford st and back had something to do with it.

You'll do skip, you'll be fine. In fact, I'd put money on you being the one wiping shearer's arse and wheeling him for his fortnightly sea glimpse once his osteoporotic pelvis has crumbled to dust

A regular thing.
Maybe a dozen times a year.
Or surfed over the road other times.

Re: Just general surfing stuff
Man this site has sucked for the last few days
Anyway - looking for some help here, I've just dived into some hard training again following a cruisy two months post Molokai and I am very sore indeed. Really sore on some points. Specially the ends of longer muscles.
My energy levels are pretty high and not a concern but the soreness is a bit more than I'd expected. Any ideas? Can't involve drugs.
