So now sharks get to have the beach all to themselves!
FFS, first we can't cull them and now they have "surf alone" surfing privileges, it's just not fair!

I'm told there was 10' tiger caught near to the shore where I surf yesterday. The fisherman released it.

So what does he do with the Bronze Whalers and Bulls? Adopt them out like retired Greyhounds?
Re: Where did you surf today ?
Super fun again today, was better on the almost dead high tide as the sets pushed up right on the bank. Great mid length conditions.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Crap 1st go out, swell direction/tide/wind combo just wasn't handling where I was so went in after a bunch of closeouts.
Did a quick scope of a few spots on the way home, with another beach looking much better. Suited up and felt much better after a few, much higher quality, waves.

Despite the wind, there are quite a few waves about with bugger all people. It's way more fun than it looks.

Looking very scrappy around here. Too lazy to battle the washing machine conditions. It might clean up after the thunderstorm.
Apparently lightning strikes out to sea cleared the surf at Tama.

Fcuk it's been super fun all day. Wedged up swell refracting all over the place forming solid little chunks into shallow shore banks, sooo good for mucking around with boards. I think maybe that 6'1" wing round pin MC is the best surfboard ever.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Fun overhead beach breaks yesterday mid-arvo once the wind sorted itself out, and still some decent snack-sized quality lefts and rights earlier this morning.
