Yep, sorry. Think I’ll take Steve’s advice and burn it as a sacrifice. It’s only fair.

hahaha......my pupes are holding up better than the epoxy/eps boards I have.
I think Joshs boards were bullet proof and you might have a skewed picture now.

No no, keep it up, you might even get a call up to the upcoming Frog Stabber Invitational.

Every time I see an old man tick tacky frog stabber I want to strap them to a chair with their eyes open clockwork orange style and make them watch this over and over and over.

So anyway I sold my Black Diamond after 10 rides. Too thick and too much rail for me and frankly the pulled in tail with those attributes makes for a "stiff" board. Sold it to a nice young pommy geezer who has caught the bug. Easy rider and I hope he enjoys it. Dropped 170 bucks, fk it.

Good move.
I’ve had 5 surfs on my Lost. Was a bit disillusioned after the first couple. Lot more foam than I’m used to. Felt a bit boaty. But my last surf it all seemed to click. I think I’ve found it’s sweet spot and it all seemed to flow a lot better and actually felt pretty loose. Especially on my backhand. It’s a keeper.

I've got a 6'1" Monster Box, round tail version. Beautifully proportioned board. They're quick and loose as fcuk, which makes them great in smaller surf. Had to put big fins in mine to gain more control. Quad set up. The recommended upper end in surf size on the website seems spot on. With my ageing average abilities, i've noticed that in anything over head high plus with some push the board gets somewhat squirrelly in the tail, it drifts and slides a bit when you try to drive a hard turn. The squash tail version might feel quite different with it's little hip and slightly pulled in tailThud wrote: ↑Mon Aug 20, 2018 6:55 pmSo anyway I sold my Black Diamond after 10 rides.
