Your Crancky mate is where it's at - minus the bike stuff as I'm now struggling on anything rougher than an airport runway
Footpaths are where it’s at, legal here too.

Obviously SWVIC you need to move to a healthier clime, just like those tubercula dudes in the 19th and early 20thC.
Just trot of to Centerlink, get a Disability Pension and come on over. Its gonna be just like Uncle Bobs surf team of the 70's but Bali based.

You have my medium term future sorted. If only dealing with welfare were still as care-free as it once was
Yes, croissy, the good old days, when you could suck the public tit for a few years, decide it's time to get ahead, get to work for a year or so and buy a fcuken house. And when I join Cranked, you'll be paying

Any word as to how the fcuk he was kiteboarding sans foot straps?
Re: Where did you surf today ?
I’ve seen quite a few blokes kiteboarding on normal surfboards at Longy. Must be a thing. I guess they don’t do jumps?
Re: Where did you surf today ?
A lot of the guys do it without straps. Especially for good quality, point break waves.
You tack out, then pick your set and surf down the line. Carves and surf style turns but can get around sections much easier.

Royal National Park beach break. Peaky swell. A bit wonky and shifty but with plenty of waves coming through and still reasonably punchy.
Sets were a good foot or two overhead. Rights were shorter, mostly a chance for a quick cover up if you were in position. The lefts had a decent wall and bowl with a good section or two to hit up.
Surfed the trusty 80’s belly channel 6’3 thruster which has proven to be a great board for me in overhead beachbreaks. Gets in early, has plenty of speed and drive through turns and holds steady always.
Only four other surfers out over the entire beach. Had a peak to myself the whole time.

Went out for a flounder around....and to try the steamer I nabbed at Vinnies before I went OS. Flounder I did. Caught a couple of nothing waves then snared a good one that stood up out the back and ran into the inside section. Inside is pretty good at the moment. Stoked.

Surf’s been getting better and better for days, a couple of really nice moments yesterday, and today it’s 4’ and crispy cream.

National Park. Consistent chest high left peak with the occasional bigger set. Still fairly punchy for its size. Had it to myself for a while. Only three others out beforehand.

Car locks are broken so only took one board (the mal) expecting it to be small. Was pretty small but breaking square.
