It’s good for when my mum calls and rattles on and then it cuts out
Re: Ebay Bargains thread
There's been a massive discussion on the Surfers over 70 FB page. (Over 20,000 members, Hi cranked. Hi offy. ), about whether to tie your board on the roof with the fins at the back or fins forward.buddy wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 12:35 pmWonder why she’s selling.

I can't believe how many Yanks are in favour of fins forward.
Some of them probably even mount their fins in the board this way.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

That’s exactly the kind of pointless, long winded discussion I’d expect in an over 70s group.Trev wrote: ↑Fri Sep 01, 2023 1:52 pmThere's been a massive discussion on the Surfers over 70 FB page. Yep. Hundreds of comments.
My only response was to the guys who said if the board slipped the fin would stop it sliding right through.
I suggested anyone who couldn't strap a board on firmly shouldn't be allowed to surf.

I bet there was a spike in posts when you mentioned the "strap-on" ... filthy old cunts.

Recommended in Hawaii when I rented a board over there. The rationale apparently is the fin will stop the board slipping off in high winds if it’s not tied down tight. You see a lot of people doing just that.
Meanwhile in Bondi I see a number of people strapping their boards on the roof wax up fin down.

Re: Ebay Bargains thread
I’ve bought two boards on Gumtree where the owners fin placement would have made them surf like dogs.
Put the fins where they should go and went great.
