So far, out of ten waves, how many times did you knowingly snake someone?
How many times did you drop in and get dropped in on?
If you got dropped in on for snaking, then don’t include it.

First wave I was dropped in on.
I dropped in (inadvertently) three waves.

No snaking. Made no attempt to paddle up the inside of anybody.

Body is feeling good apart from a niggling bit of elbow tendinitis which flares up from duck diving.

Did you consider tracking down someone with one of those fancy data watches to borrow?

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Okay, so far that’s a wave every 18 min or three an hour with approx 300 in the water. Interesting to see how these stats hold up for the rest of the day. Particularly with 500 in the mix. I always find it’s the paddling for and missing exertion that gets to you after a while.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
What percentage are actually surfing?
Re: Where did you surf today ?
Good question.
At Noosa it's generally about 10 to 15%.
Certainly not as high as 20.
Different right out at the pot or granite.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
4 waves for drift 2 including 2 absolute Bangers down the end past Greenmount.
Unfortunately elbow is really giving me grief now. Every time it is bent and under load - duck diving or popping up it’s painful AF and powering down.
Gunna have a prawn Sanga and chill and gobble two anti-inflamms and see what happens.
Fcuk it’s pumping.

No idea. Haven’t got that far. Might go down there next drift. Swell seems to be slowly rising.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Well, not much if you plan on surfing the whole way through.
It’s load mgmt.
So you exercise through tolerable loads including discomfort and low pain and build up your tolerance through increasing load over time.
Those tennis elbow bands can help through activities you know will flare it up but they’re not much good for surfing.
In the short term you could try kinesio taping it and see if that decreases the strain while surfing. YouTube will give you ideas on how to do it.
Manual therapy like deep massage or dry needling can help some people for symptomatic relief, but not everyone
