Called into Moffats this morning on way through and had a quick swim
Let’s anout 11am didn’t see any drama
Sorry Trev No time for a coffee
No worries mate. Next time.
I reckon the whole thing would have been fairly early although I was out of the water and on my way home by about 7.30 and it hadn't happened then.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

BTW. I saw a guy out on a SUP a while ago using two legropes.
Can we get a bit more detail on this?

What sort of detail would you like to know?

Yeah they pull around 250-300 tiger sharks off buoys and nets each year in Qld, it's not like there is a lack of 'em
I wasn't really worried.
Ironically the other day when swimming in after my board, not once did shark cross my mind.
There's a bunch of kayakers go out at Moffs every morning, to fish the reefs a couple of ks offshore.
From the pics this wasn't an exercise kayak. You can bet the craft stunk of previous catches and that's why the shark snapped at it.
used to be some crew who would kayak fish the close reefs off Lennox.
not anymore.

A guy was hit in a tinny off Julian Rocks ....fighting a fish.
hit the tinny so hard it knocked him out of the boat.
he climbed back in, landed the fish and went and told the dive boats with all the tourists snorkelling nearby there was a 12ft white around.

Scored some great waves this morn to ourselves.
When a bunch of bait fish started skimming the surface like they were being chased with no dolphins around, I put my feet up for a few minutes.

Not as good at low tide with the morning sun angle but pleasant nonetheless. I did surf one of the points towards you the other day and I've never seen it so clear.
Crowds have been great around here since the latest attack.

When I tore the tendon off my left arm a year or so ago, the radiographer who did the ultrasound told me he was one of the guys who go out in kayaks to fish on the reefsmoff Moffs.
I reckon we they were mad trailing fish blood and guts all the way out there.
No worries, he said. We've been doing it for years.
Just saw the newspaper interview with the guy who got hit in his kayak yesterday.
It was him.
