Fiji in June
Going over to Fiji in June next year for a wedding. It's on at the Sofitel. I've never paid that much attention to the specifics over there. Just general impressions of the surf I.e. Short and grinding over reefs except for the premier spots. Any advice re: scoring a few waves after the festivities.

Thanks Salty.
June is pretty good wind wise?
Haven't really checked out exactly where the resort is.
After having a look....Namotu is a possibility I think.

Wilkes, Cloudbreak, swimming pools (very easy) but kinda fun, restaurants - all within the same area and you are in peak season for it. Restaurants prob the gnarliest in my opinion, so shallow and quick.
Have a dig at cloudbreak, its not that much of a monster under 4ft... so many different waves depending on where you take off etc.. its an amazing thing. Namotu is fccckng shit unless everywhere is maxed out, we surfed it and there were some absolute mountians of water coming through and it still wasn't that intimidating.. it's more of a SUP wave.
