Nice swell lines came into MV but sandbanks have not reformed. Swell 8/10', sandbanks 1/10. Overall 4/10 for rideable waves.

Yes I'm hearing ya loud and clear!!!!saltman wrote:Autumn started sensationally well - but then bank situation declined and has been dire for over a month - so many great swells and wind combos wasted
No sign of the sand getting any better either
There's a coupla options, but very tidally affected and overall that May ECL was the worst thing that could happened to SE Qld/NNSW.

Pretty much what happened down here.
Holy fcuk a place that hasn't had a good bank for ages is outrageously stacked right now.

it's like Pamela Anderson after she got the first silicon injection, dumped Slater and went back to Tommy Lee.
sure Kelly has dated a few super models but he's also been dumped by all of them. Coincidence? I think not.

Agree with your ratings. Banks all along the NB's have been shit.chrisb wrote:Nice swell lines came into MV but sandbanks have not reformed. Swell 8/10', sandbanks 1/10. Overall 4/10 for rideable waves.

On the other hand...he has rooted Pamela Anderson and a pile of super models. Let's face it....Kelly was just a celebrity root......toy boy. Used as a plaything by some of the hottest women in the world. Poor guy.

Re: Rate your autumn
well I have enjoyed this autumn, I am giving it 7/10
there's been a lot of swell, the water's stayed warm, I've enjoyed every surf I've been for, and while there haven't really been any super dramatic crazy days, it's been reliable and consistent
a Sally Fitzgibbons of autumns one might say

Re: Rate your autumn
ok and last week was a great way to finish, I think the banks have been dicey and I should have driven places but time poor. Winter has started off nicely.
Re: Rate your autumn
Quite right. The water doesn't seem to get cold until August/ September.Beanpole wrote:Re: the waters stayed warm. When was the last time Autumn wasn't?

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
