Work that allows you to surf during the week
Just interested to know what do people do for work that allows them to surf during the week. It seems like a fair few people here get to surf whenever it gets good.

shift
Im in the same boat as sean, 12hr shifts, Unreal, i think after taking all my holidays, i work 157 odd days a year. I work weekends ans nights, so i get plenty of opportunities to surf. I would absolutely struggle to go back to 7am-3pm. It does suck working nights sometimes, but weekends dont bother me ( i have young kids and a mortgage, no goin out for me!! ). In a way its a part time job, but i get paid pretty well for it. Acually, after sunday, i have 11 days off, no annual leave, just an 11 day break, coz i smashed a heap of shifts in a row. Gotta love it.
I'm in Film and TV - looks like a similar sort of gig as Dinosaur. Too busy to surf when we're working, but able to surf all the time when we don't have many scripts in. It's even better than when i was at uni because you have enough cash (and FF points) to go OS when it suits. Lifestyle is A1. In fact, just walked my chick to the ferry, sipping on a latte and about to hit Manly Corner on the foamie, even though it's one foot and powerless, because it's a nice morning to float around for half an hour. Gold!

Company director.
I work for a small little company called quikripabong. On the first Monday of each month I send out the orders to my happy & productive little team who work from cosy shops doted around Asia. It’s funny, they don’t seem to want to get paid much, I guess they really like their jobs. Even funnier is that people here will pay $90 for my boardshorts, that only cost me $5 to make! By Tuesday my work is done, so I drive around up and down the northern beaches in my Woollahra tractor. Once in a while I take my $950 fish out for a spin. Generally I have a lot of productivity meetings with other company directors where we in no way talk about fixing prices or anything, but do enjoy a few skinny decaf soy caps.
I mostly look forward to weekends when I take my $1,200 performance mal out at Bondi, where I can show off my trimming skills.
