No.
I agree, seems legit.
But it was one up us. 🤪

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Re: Journalist seeking Sydney surfers 5km+ from beach
Thanks for the replies. I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble, which is why I said the conversations can be anonymous. I'm just trying to write about the lockdown 5 km exercise restrictions. While I'm guessing most surfers live near a beach, I'm sure there are some who don't. And it would suck to suddenly be told you can't practice the sport you love, especially when it seems like one of the most covid-safe sports out there.
I'm interested in talking to people who've stopped surfing because of the restrictions and -- anonymously -- those who continue to surf. I've granted anonymity to all types of people for articles in the past, and am happy to do that again.
Again, I appreciate the responses and hope a few people feel like chatting.

I’m sure Mike won’t mind me saying that he sent me a PM. I had to explain I was taking the piss in the realsurf tradition. I’ve moved a little further away than 5ks.
Re: Journalist seeking Sydney surfers 5km+ from beach
If nothing else, I think its fair to say that Mike is a researcher ... so he's not going to get a job with Fox ant time soon.
The moving finger writes and having writ moves on ... now all thy piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel even half a line ... nor all thy tears wash out a single word of it.

So, just to clarify something in another thread.
Is the Washington Post a Murdoch publication?
Apologies if I've insulted you Mike.
I can't help with your research as I'm in the freedom State of Queensland.
Which comment probably means next week were going to be invaded by Delta. 🤪
IIRC, our first lockdown was a 10 KLM limit but that pretty much morphed into your postcode area.
Which was good because my home postcode and my surf postcode are the same.
But it also meant heaps of people who would normally be at work, but shared my postcode, were in the surf. 🤬

Well played sir. I was quick to ascertain that it was indeed you, by checking Twitter, and you seem like a good bloke. Followed.Journalist wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 11:14 pmHa. I understand the hesitation. Here's my author page: https://www.washingtonpost.com/people/michael-e-miller/
