I’ve had a similar experience. Was riding a FW Seaside and enjoying it. Then bought the longer Sea Side and beyond. For me way to fast on take off for any decent wave. Goes ok in weak 1-2.Beanpole wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 3:18 pmI have a 6’6” Tolhurst Fish which is a great board but a bit challenging for an old fella to pop up on. So I bought a 6’10” one exactly the same. I’ve had a terrible time on that. It takes off like a rocket and I have even more difficulty getting to my feet
Junior took it out at Crescent and tore it up on his backhand. The board looked really good. He used to like the 6’6”.
