Looks fun but..

MP, do you reckon it would be possible to shape a finless board with similar knife-edge rails that seem to hold in pretty well to a degree, but have the float to paddle the thing (he was up to his neck in the water!)?

I've seen the seaglass tuna thing in the water and that guy was struggling to paddle it around too. Seems as though it could have done with stacks more float.

Maybe an extreme step deck? Whatdya reckon?

yeah but he was getting towed or whipped in I thought, so who needs float....and when I do my finless and semi-finless creations, they all have alot of foam, you want them to be able to catch anything as I use em when the waves are marginal to have more fun when its shite, coz usually jump on a more standard ( haha ) shape when the waves are of a better quality...dont see the point of overly refining a board for tiny waves really, not when sensitivity and responsiveness are not required for finless type surfing, I want em stable and floaty and forgiving and fun...and the more waves you can catch on these things, the more fun I have...but not doing too many, its more my tangent of fun and playing with where it takes me....its totally different to what DH and Tom are doing, there's so many variations and tangents with this stuff, smae as any boards or forms of surfing I guess....you really gotta ride one Captn... 8)

Still looks a little slow with so little foam...or maybe its because its the spongy bodyboard material rather than fibreglass...

I reckon better can be done!
