Width and thickness.
I think I’m about 177cm and 80 kegs.
If it was 19.5, 2.5 be perfect.

Saw a Wayne Deane Shape in the secondhand racks at Dripping Wet today. Quad. Mega thick with down rails and a beak nose. Very70s meets 2022. I presume someone else is shaping them.

I think it was about $500. 6’4”. Not a realistic investment but interesting and a bit nostalgic. Way too fat and low rockered for around here.
I had a 6’6” Fishcuit that was similar thickness etc. insanely fast but you couldn’t take off late and I regularly ate it on take offs.

News flash…..I know this guy who thinks he’s a bit sharper than everyone so he gets offended by people posting about surfboards on a surf site.
I’m interested to know who has the gig shaping these boards. I’m sure a sharp fella like Yuke can set me straight.
Actually two Wayne Deanes and a Tommy Peterson.

What the fuck are you talking about ?

I was sent a couple of pictures of the board in question, so I thought I'd convey the news, you dopey argumentative prick.

The Tommy P came up in conversation too, it isn't an old one, it's quite new apparently.

Looking forward to your inane response.

Picked up an ex-team 6’1” Chilli Volume ll. Should be ideal for Summer down here.

Image

“A trusted, fast, no frills all round shortboard that excels in 1-4 foot conditions.

CONTOUR: A single concave starting 12 cm down from the nose and runs down to just above the side fins. It then has a slight double concave (allowing for the perfect amount of release) through the side fins then back to a single exit through the tail.
ROCKER: A normal entry through to a flat/moderate exit allowing for maximum speed. The volume holds throughout the board with plenty under the chest for optimal paddle power if the conditions are weaker. A medium to slightly lower rail provides a forgiving ride, but with enough hold so you can trust it in more critical sections on the wave.”

You could have written ERS and AND after reef sticker, then taken the wax off sex wax, move the remaining sticker up and ended up with REEFers and SEX.

Marketing 101.

Don't think there'll be too much HP surfing but I reckon it should go alright. Looks pretty forgiving.
