Nice board rack. Mine are on top of each other under the house or still in the car. Your approach a lot smarter. Did you buy or make?

The chilli down the end too small for you now?
Nah, I still ride it. It’s a 5’10. It’s a bit beat up so I take it out in summer when it’s crowded. Happy to pull into closeouts with it.

I just made it actually. Piss easy. The timber was left over from my fence building.

Here’s the link for it.

I just bought my first proper middle aged surfer board.

During my recovery, a mate lent me his 6'8 CI 'happy traveler' ... tonnes of foam. Anyway, it was perfect for me getting around and into waves a little earlier as I built my fitness to get back into the surf.

Saw one on FB marketplace - Happy Traveler 6'6, 19 3/4, 2 3/4 .. 37 litres. $380 (some dings, professionally fixed)

Turned out he worked about 100 metres from where I am working ATM. Deal done!

First surf at the Point and it got me straight into a barrel. Pretty stoked with it!

Yeah he sent me an email asking if I’d do a review. Hopefully I’ll get a discount on my next board :-D-:

On small weak days the trailer is a significant hindrance.

All good Jimmy, I got nothing to hide.

Steve I’ve just got back from surfing a very shallow, sucky chest-high beachie. Rode it as a twin and it got way too loose a couple of times. I’ll be putting the stabiliser back in.
