:). Put it to the test in knee to waist high junk windswell this morning. Super fun!. Love the keels, though I might try some more standard quad setups, like the ones in the pic next surf.

I got some surfinz cheap. Plastic, though much stiffer than most plastic, which I can't stand. They've also got some kind of texture on them. Will try em out and review.

What's the bottom, don't see much concave in the tail.
Board looks Sweet Potatoesque, except for the bottom.

Hey mate, there's definately concave there, single to double, reasonably deep. Super fun board, just trying to work out fins for it. Got the indofins controllers, though they have extra cant built in, which is over the top in head high waves. I have a pretty standard setup in it now to try, so hopefully get to try it out this week sometime. Some nice shaped waves would be really helpful. Not too much to ask is it?!

Sounds like you'll get it sorted beery.
Check out the concave, particularly the double at the tail, of Matty's. :

Yes - "Sputnik" being my spin on "Spud", or sweet potato, if you like...

The lighting does'nt highlight the concaves. I've snuck in incognito to the local Firewire stockist to suss theirs, but probably lean towards moderation with concaves, once I'm locked into my own shaping room.

How's your aftermarket cork deck holding out? Huie loves them and does'nt care that I think they look like poo. :-)(

Got it into some waist to chest high glassy decent shaped waves this morning. The combo of decent shaped waves and a more normal set of quad fins was insane. So bloody fast but so loose. Got some great little shore break type waves. I think I could even go a touch smaller on the rear fins. Got 4.2" rears in there but could probably try my longboard side bites, which are around 3.5". Such a fun board for tiny waves. Got some great little cutbacks in. Fits in the boot too hahah

Channels - I've pushed yours along all through glassing, plugs and sanding - I've just hit a couple of days delay as the paint I use for artwork is delivered, damn stockists...

Another nod to McCoy, a bit more subtle. The Veloce - 6'1 x 21 1/2.
