I wonder how many shapers use/don't use CAD software?

80% I'd say. There are some who can design in the shaping bay and smash out a shape quicker than a machine or who make handshaping part of their marketing. Machine shapes still take a bit of skill to finish but they do save time and improve repeatability.

Some interesting rumours doing the rounds about Rance’s retirement Buddy. Not so happy times at Tigerland.

Finished product. Plenty of blemishes in the spray and glassing but overall happy with it.
I stuck these fins in it from a Larry Mabile twinzer set because I already had them, but I’m hoping to get a black set of fcs2 power twins.

Okay, long racy twins with or without channels have now been around long enough to be adopted by a bunch of barely intermediate surfers who don’t have the ability to even vaguely ride them properly. In fact I reckon the majority of surfers don’t have the skill level.

They are far more suited to a Widow Maker. Maker came up as Moma Kerouac
Not to mention every man and his dog taking the back fin out of any old board and expecting it to go better.

I mean, tastebuds? WGAF?
