Ouch, sounds like a bit of a rough start to the trip! Sorry to hear about your rib pain. It's smart to listen to your body, especially when it's giving you signals like this. Taking it easy for a bit might be a good call to let things heal up properly. Longboarding sounds like a solid plan to minimize those sudden movements. Maybe mix in some gentle stretches to keep things limber without aggravating it too much. Enjoy the rest of your trip, and hopefully, you'll be back out there catching waves in no time!
