Five weeks until I’m back in the water. I was going to do the left ear straight after it, but I’m going to wait another 3-4 months then do it. It’s too long out of the water otherwise. I’ll go mad.

Im on the public list and got the call saying they can do my operation at a private hospital in 5-12 weeks from now so they can work through the list a bit quicker.
With an indo trip booked in June, I had to decline.

Just got the staples out 30 mins ago. Holy god. The vacuum-hose-in-the-ear-to-suck-out-the-congealed-blood-and-gunk procedure. Disgusting viewing. And sound is shrill, like a tornado inside your skull.

So are you getting yourself ear plugs so you don’t have to go through this again?

I've found that the ear flaps on a surf cap are great for ear protection. WA has bitterly cold morning offshores.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
