When I lived at Coogee many years ago I used to run around to Clovelly throughGordons Bay. Felt really fit but every week I would twist an ankle. Not during the run but later just stepping on an uneven surface. Ended really doing an ankle in at Caba surfing when I was visiting my mum.
After that I only ran on the beach. Might get back into it.
