how do we know it wasn't a retalliation drop in? you know the kind where someone drops in on you and shows no remorce and so you wait till they have a mad wave lined up and you do the dirty on them...

some guy did it to me 5times yesterday at boxy. The wedges were not working properly, but this one stood up perfect he takes the drop into the barrel he was gonna make it, so i paddled he saw me. He scremed profanity i pulled into it, it doubled up right on the shore and I was in for 5secs. His drop ins though were on smaller shitter waves so it felt better.

we should all stop fighting over the waves and give them to whoever deserves it ie. are on the inside or on the takeoff etc...

spread the love and share the surf...

(style going peaceful, soulful and tibetan on life...)

the first thing i was taugh and learnt some 12 years ago when i was learning to surf was to never drop in on someone and to this day if someone has the inside and gets on the wave i will pull out.

Its just the unwritten law.

The other day surfing i was out there, nothing much was happening but the freak wave that was actually rideable came through (maybe 4 foot) anyways i drop in on the inside of a right hander with a full face to have blast with, this other guy takes off just up a bit, closes out my section, rides it all the way in then gets out and walks off... to say the least i was pissed!

"And the way the rain comes down hard, that's how i feel inside..."
