Everyone's lives are epic.
Not really, in fact, hardly at all.
Unless you count lives of "quiet desperation" epic.
Most people are boring as batshit, and quite stupid.
You’ve spent too much time in Lennox mate.

My brain is not wired up like that at all, and I am curious about the problem of "other minds" so I would appreciated his detailed exposition on the matter.

If everyones lives are epic, no-ones lives are.

it's a patently absurd statement.

Ernest Shackleton had an epic life, the accountant who had 2.2 kids and lived a suburban life did not.

One of the foundations of Australian Character is the Myth of the rugged eccentric explorer who goes where few have been……except the aborigines for thousands of years…….and dies a miserable death in the desert. Epic failures like the Anzacs, like Ned Kelly, like Eureka.

If you don’t think everybody has an epic life, you are not paying attention.

Especially Beanpole. Have you ever really listened to his stories Steve? Why, they would keep Sir Ernest on the edge of his dogsled.
South Pole, pffft, you want adventure, try finding a park in Bondi on the weekend Ernie.

Steve, you will be pleased to know that the 2 chaps who have produced a remastered 4K version of Morning of the Earth are planning to remaster another iconic surf film.

Matt Warshaw reports
“I spent part of this morning talking to Daily and Misch, who are also here in New Smyrna, and can report back that they are ready to harpoon the great white whale of surf film restoration projects—yes, the original Free Ride.”

I always thought the soundtrack was the problem with FreeRide. From memory it had commercial music.

I've been wondering why the Shelly beach ballina cam on surfline always looks like the conditions are clean even when I know they're not for the last week at least.
Seems that they're using an old pre-recorded loop over and over again instead of just saying the cam is down.
Fuck that company sucks.

Yep, horrible fucking clunky out of date website with what appears to be zero interest in improving their product.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
