I played cricket with Glenn Bailey the founder. Smoke 4 packs of durries a day and 4 litres of Coke. He sold it for millions and has now starred another Ladder company.

Watched a lot of it today...I think the girls comp was better that ive seen for some time..and they did go for it the tough conditions today. Fitter than me for sure. Caitlin that won has a great future and a very watchable style..but gee im not sure she actually warranted that 6 in the last minutes of the final to steal the win. DOnt get me wrong..she was worthy overall....but think she was over scored for the win..and she wasnt sure herself i reckon...
The mens was pretty epic ..and Mr Robson pulled 3 buzzer beaters out to get to the final..good job. From nowhere 3 weeks ago..well in WSL calculations ..hes done great..good luck to him :)
ANd Sheldon SImkus didnt od himself any harm either..great final in those conditions

That sweep. Man I’ve had some crappy surfs out there in conditions like that. Less choppy though.Kingscliff doesn’t do a bad impression of that in a heavy south swell either.
Occys wipe out the other day was epic.
Thanks predictive text…Occy became occasionally.

Just had a look at Grant Miller's web page, hadn't had a look for ages.
Looks like he's packing it in, closing down the site in a few weeks and heading to the US for a holiday.
He made me 3 great boards over the years, great guy and ran a professional business very passionately.

Has he (Grant Miller) got a place down the Sth Coast?? Perhaps he will end up down there.
Ive not had any boards from him personally but my brother has had 2 and he still has them so they must be pretty good. Ive looked at his site a few times and he seems both professional and well schooled in his art.

Interesting read on why he is 'retiring' from the business.

If not somewhat jaded ... a lot of what he referenced in regards to editorial board tests etc, is spot on. I know a couple of shapers who've been offered reviews in return for buying advertising space, which in reality equates to an advertorial, not an honest product assessment.

Even when they’re not advertorial board reviews are mostly bollocks

To tell the truth eggs are one thing I avoid buying when I’m grocery shopping. So you may say I’m an intermittent egg buyer who usually lets someone else buy them.

Yep, I've never seen a bad review.

He’ll sell a few of those things. They look good. I’m still really happy with the MR/Lost thing. I’ve been toying with the idea of a twin pin but would feel like a wanker.
