Re: that wetsuit discussion...
SRFACE look like a cheaper Yammie option. Doesn't look like they ship to Australia.

3 all up.
2 for son, 1 for me.
Springy and steamer for him were already almost too small- we kept the springy and they allowed us to swap the steamer for next size up at Byron store.
Pretty stoked on Rip Curl, actually.

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
First go out in the new 3/2 Zipperless Flashbomb.
Initial impression: absolute ball ache to get in and out of.
Compared to 2/2 Isurus with yammie- it felt like a suit of armour as far as flexibility goes. It is a new suit, so it will soften up a notch, but the difference between yammie and normal rubber is profound.
I know it's an inch thicker, but even allowing for that it's way, way heavier and stiffer and harder to paddle in.
Warmth- no difference between this and my 3/2 Dawn Patrol. It doesn't feel like a super warm wetsuit.
I mean water temp was over 20. It was a rainy, chilly morning with offshore winds and I was definitely not cooking in this wetty.
Occ. flushing on duck dives even though wetty fitted me perfectly.
Conclusion: would be severely bummed if I paid full retail ($600) for this- there's no increased value in terms of warmth and flexibility compared to the standard mid-range suit and a substantial penalty as far as ease of use goes.
Deffo not buying premium big box wetsuit brands again, even at half price.
Much better off paying the premium for Yamamoto.

Just my honest thoughts to help my brine brothers avoid marketing and paying a premium for nothing.

My 11 year old was complaining he was way too hot in his new flashbomb this morning in Sydney. Told him to save it for Winter.
My 2/2 zipperless is easy as to get in and out of, warm and flexible. Cant say if its as good as yammy as havent tried one, but still a great suit.
