This looks alright for $439

MENS DAWN PATROL 4/3MM GB BACK ZIP STEAMER WETSUIT

Thoughts?

I just got a 4x3 for down here. They are very thick and very warm. I’d forgotten how much thicker they feel than a 3x2. Definitely overkill for Sydney. You’ll fry even in mid-winter.

Just bought a 2mm long arm/short leg front zip, sealed-seam wetsuit from Surf Warehouse for $160. I already have the same model but long arm and leg 3x2 ($210) for nearly a year without any problems.

They're commonly referred to as a spring suit, and in this case a long-armed springy.

Its like saying, I just purchased some open toed rubber footwear which attach via two straps that form a V across the top of the foot ... rather than simply saying ... "just got me a new of pair of double-pluggers".

Didn’t think you did. 3x2 will be fine.

Geez wetsuits are expensive. Back Zips are nearly half the price of chest zips though. Contemplating going back to the dark side.
My Xcel steamer is getting pretty floppy after three seasons.

Back zips are about £10-£20 cheaper than the same model with a chest zip. Some manufacturers still don’t offer their top end suits with a BZ though. What are you after beans? Plenty of reductions in the big UK discounters. You could ask jim to bring you one back

With the price of a top end wetsuit they should offer a BJ with it.
