Basic thermodynamics used to be taught at high school.

It's pretty simple stuff.

Both air and water can cool you down.

It seems to be another one of those weird concepts that people can't get their head around.

Wetsuits work by trapping water inside that is warmed by body heat. Of course if the water temp is bathtub warm already every duckdive would be pure bliss. That’s basic thermodynamics. Nothing worse than a little bit of knowledge applied wrongly.
