Pleasure Point again, decent 3 - 4 foot size but I seemed to fcuk up everything that came my way. Not a great session but nice to be in the water.

Water is too fcuken cold, I need a new 4/3, and a zip free one at that. I'm done with back zip suits

Swell has kicked a bit. Easily overhead at south facing beach, felt and looked long period stuff.

I had to go to Shellharbour for something, so I decided to check The Farm (being that there was supposed to be a long period south swell and north winds). I’d already surfed the point which was awfully underwhelming this morn, but anyway I drove into Killalea park and watched in horror at the many many people getting suited up in the top car parks. As I cruised down to the break the crowd swelled, Sydney cool bros mixed with south coast Dads, mid length the standard or hapless HPS eternal frothers, vying madly for parks like Beanpole on a Bondi afternoon.

100s of surfers in the water scratching for fat close outs, the ultimate Dad Wave in full effect. I quickly got the fcuk outta there.

The Farm is the new Garie (in that Sydney surfers swarm it)
Yuck

About 20 odd years ago a mate of mine moved to Shellharbour. I used to go visit him and he took me there a few times and there was pretty much no one out. I guess it happens everywhere.

The farm handles big south groundswells, then the crowd thins right out and you’ll pick off dozens. On smaller days it’s a circus

Yeah I was secretly hoping it was pumping, big and clean.

Na. But yes agree the swell kicked in arvo- went for a swim at Wollongong city beach and it was 4 ft

I camped at the farm about 20 years ago and had a couple of days almost to myself.

When did they put in the road to the bottom, that's when it started to get silly.

I had an awesome surf day.

Rockfshing yesterday I noted a sand build up off a small Rocky Island along the cliff line.

A perfect left was breaking off the Island, wrapping around like an Indo reef break.

Lightning in a bottle stuff - usually sand comes and goes and it needed an E swell and low tide.

Same conditions this morning so I made the long paddle around to the Island just on sunrise.

Waves were perfect, similar shape to Macaronis and I eventually had to come in because I was getting cooked.'

Must have rode 40 perfect lefts. Solo.

Went back late in the day for the second session with the nor-easter on it and it was still fun, even though the bigger sets were overwhelming the bank.

Came in when I saw a big shape in the water.

Mediocre surf at Copa this morning. Fcuking crowded up here. Terri gal is pretty odd these days.
It used to be a bit less bargain basement. Cross between San Souci and Surfers Paradise.

Crazy weekend.

There was a fun bank down the beach with about 10 guys out.
I went out at the reef which was mediocre but no one out.
Then 9 guys paddled out.

I quickly caught a wave and paddled in.

Didn’t recognise any of them.
Another guy who had just paddled out, paddled straight in.
I recognised him. He said all of them were mates and chatting to each other.

I bet they were completely oblivious to being cum stains.
