Good: easy to get on and off. Warm and flexible in legs. Zip is great.

Bad: first couple surfs a bit tight on shoulders, better now. The inside feels slightly like wool.

Pretty good.

Boyo has Covid so I was up all night with him in his feverish deliriums.

Feel like a truck has run over me now after surfing today.

Not sure whether I have Covid or it's just natural fatigue from surfing and interrupted sleep.

Did a lap of the local.
Got so flogged on the paddle out with big sand churning detonators on the inside.
But got a couple bombs after.
Decided couldn’t be fucked with a second attempt after I caught first wave of a set all the way through

Surfed all week. Having a lay day. Feeling like I’m getting surf fit. Taken a few surfs in bigger faster waves to get some timing (still shit but brain is getting there) Double chin is fading, shoulders and core feeling stronger. Couple more weeks I’ll be invincible (flexes bicep). Making the effort to surf better mid year swell makes you feel younger and stronger at the end of run of swell. Kind of the difference between getting old and soft or not.

I have mates who’ve stopped surfing through the colder months…it’s over for them.

Yep, had a bash at Bondi. I’m feeling pretty fit at the moment. Tama looked big and good on the way home…..but a few closeouts in the mix.
