Got a few clean waves this morning on the only northerly favouring break up here.
Should repeat tomorrow.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Annoying surf that looked way better than it was. Weird rips and funny vibes from a few people. Not directed at me but loud and kind of territorial.

Had a surprisingly good surf yesterday. Got absolutely flogged today. The biggest trouncing I’ve had in quite a while.
Big set came through just as I was about to paddle out. Made me stop and consider whether it would be worth it.
Got out easy but kept an eye out for a while. Then thought I had the size of the swell down until a way bigger set came through after about 20 minutes. Copped about 5 big ones then got washed inside and took all the slightly smaller ones on the head as well.
Full throw the board and dive as deep as possible but still get rag dolled scenario. Overpowering the bank and breaking hard.
A lot of force behind the swells this arvo too.

Obviously CletusScale. There’s a lot of push (kilojoules) in the swell at the moment. Doesn’t take too much to overpower the banks at Bondi. It’s been surprising it hasn’t been closing out more. From what I saw just about everyone got washed in.

South end Maroubra reef early on. The north east swell was making the run a little sketchy at times, either holding you back behind the boils or having to highline over them. Shallow, very shallow but fun. Surfed the 2 will Webber

Which part, Pants?
I sat on the beach at Danang for a couple of days hoping it would get big enough to paddle out.

Noosa near the rivermouth.
Some of the smallest waves I've ever surfed.
But fun.

Belting into Tama this morning. Looks pretty good. Out of my league these days though.
