Yep. Its a 150k round trip to the place I usually surf, and its now packed with longboards and and SUPs. In the 90s it was shortboards only, what has our world become?
The SUP riders are a plague visited on our earth by a wrathful god, they are the ISIS of the surfing world. Fortunately this plague has not spread to the bukit as yet. In that garden of Eden original sin is not yet manifest, and the sharks lie down with the lambs.

Good fun at my local. Cleanest it's been all week.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I love these little strike missions just before Christmas, it's like the world holds its breath and there's an incredible stillness.[/quote]
I think that is a apt description of every small coastal town in Australia before Christmas, all hell will break loose tomorrow.

Went for a walk down to my local, dirtiest I've ever seen it, tourists are pigs. Why do you think your local was dirtier earlier in the week trev, did the council workers clean it up for christmas?

Hmmm?
So, if you think by "cleanest" I'm referring to the condition of the beach you aren't and have never been, a surfer.
Just another troll.

Rookie error. Surfed Manly on a public holiday, warm summer day with really shit banks. Possibly my worst session of the year.

Had a swim at Watsons Bay. Neilsen Park was off the scale. Went past Bondi which looked inviting but dead flat and really crowded. Tama if you had softie. Great to not be going anywhere when the surf is this bad.

Jumped in just to wash a hot day of working around the house off at about 630 tonight - got pounded on way out stuck on the edge of the gutter and wore a dozen on the head. Lumpy disjointed and only rode 2 waves, but only two walkers on 3km of beach made for a peaceful cool down. Sets were about head high (but closing out.)

? Three foot ENE swell with light winds in the morning that later went moderate south. You think there wouldn't have been some half decent waves close by? Or is 8 klm too far?

You da man Hatchie. Enjoy the Spit bro.
Just checked the webcam.....even worse than I presumed...seriously crap. You must be regularly overcalling waves if you think thats head high.
