First surf in couple weeks.
Lunch break, Kirra.
One nice turn. Just chasing walls and sections the rest of the time. Nice to be out though. No where to surf anywhere close to home.

Todays the first day in a couple of weeks I’m debating not going for a surf. Mainly cause it’s raining.

Had a fun surf last Wednesday which was the only one for a week before that.
None since but might hit up Noosa this week sometime.

Fucking ESE winds constantly and 3m + short period easterly wind swell smashing everything.
Constant rain, all sorts or debris in the ocean.

And the constant cloud is playing havoc with my solar power generation.
Usually return between 10 and 12 kW hrs per day.
The last two weeks have averaged 2.7 kwhrs per day.
Lucky my account is in credit.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Yep. Interfering with our ability to surf every day, while seamlessly adding dollars to our bank accounts. :-)(

Yep, really been treating surfing as mainly an exercise program lately. Conditions have been marginal. It’s been worthwhile though. Making the most of the bath warm water temps.

The radio news keeps telling me there’s a dangerous surf alert all the way down the coast but it doesn’t appear dangerous

From this mornings BOM forecast for Sydney............Surf conditions in the morning may be more powerful than they appear and are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as rock fishing and swimming.

Surf Cam looks a little bit bigger than yesterday but hardly dangerous.

You’d think Bean’s would have understood that after surfing for 84 years.

Noosa.

5 waves from the entrance to Nationals car park to First Point.

Phil Jarrett tells me he's off to Indo shortly.
Watch out for him cranked.

Anyway, one less to worry about for the Wrecks and Relics.

Well, yeah, nah. Apart from obviously powerful building swells and lazy dying swells and ground swells vs wind swells I have remained blissfully ignorant of the subtleties of swell period. I just tend to treat it as yet another example of forecasting wankspeak.
