I had hoped to at least have a look but things keep happening in Bali time.

I don't know if you're suffering from it too, but I seem to fall into a general malaise in Indo after a couple of weeks if I stay in one place too long. I wind down too much and have to keep reminding myself to make the most of it.
Easy to do and maybe not a bad thing, but once I settle into that lazy state of mind, it's time to move along.

Solid 4 foot clean and all but Glassy, light offshore breeze, and got more sucky as the tide ran out.
Lotta close outs but some good ones too.
Forgot my springy and had to wear a steamer for the first time since about last September, forgot how much I hate that thing.

Best surfing at Medewi when I was there was a local on a fish. Still one of the better performances. Surfed it with my son when he was in primary school. It was a great experience. He was going great until we went out at dead low tide after a hike up the beach to surf that Rivermouth right. Sister found a giant human poo on a rock there

Anyway we were going great on the left till I turned around and he was standing on a big rock right in the middle of a pile of rocks that are usually the take off at high tide. All I could say was cImb in to shore. That put him off after that. Locals were cool after an older regular guy reminded them that we were keeping them in pocket money by coming to the place to go surfing.

Seminyak has good beach breaks and often less crowded. Got to have paddle at Ulu if its not to much hassle and/ or big. Lots of other waves easier to get to though.

Some super fun 2-3ft with the very odd 3ft/3ft+ set this morning. Super clean and some good shape on the mid-low tide. Was good to get wet after over 2 weeks out of the water.

Maybe Autumn has arrived in the north.

Not bothering this arvo. Beer o'clock instead. Yesterday was seriously desperate stuff. So yes Mr Stripey Mal rider we have worked out you have a new mal. This doesn't mean you paddle for every little wave that comes through and then paddle feverishly back out and do it again and again and again. Catching the lions share should be enough without going ever little dribble.

Sydney seems to have been bypassed again, just looked at swell net it's around 3 on the NB's'.
It's 6-8' up the road here and going off.

Lying on my bed in a Padang hotel after surfing myself into a coma in the Mentawaiis the last 2 weeks. 23 surfs at 11 different breaks in waves between 3 to 8 foot with favourable winds pretty well the whole time. Barrelled off my nut at 6 foot plus Rifles and big West swell E Bay with only a handful out to name a couple of highlights . Could hardly blow out a candle right now..

Saw a chicks nipple in the carpark getting changed.

I've looked far and wide the last couple of months and I can't find a bad sandbank from lennox all the way to currumbin.

the whole joint is gagging for it.
