does anyone remember that show called the lost islands ? I used to watch it as a kid in the 70's ..it was about a family that gets ship wrecked on a remote island and all of the people living there on the island are caught in a time trap circa 1500's contrast with the real time which was 1970 something .. it was like going back in time ...everyone was wearing calico and had longbeards and made everything from wood not modern materials .... hang on.. I have just described roys house.. sh.it

The house I'm living in was built in 1941.

The word 'modern' is SO last century

Yeah 'mate' I'm denying the industry surf gods recognized by the state and corrupting the minds of the young with alternative surfboards and wetsuit colours.

Unlike Socrates i'm not drinking the poison.

Roy the comment about corrupting the young would only be true if the young ( or any age bracket ) were buying your boards ... which they aren't are they? how were sales in 2010 ?

Sales were fine in 2010 thanks, we sold many sets of plans, some kits, fins, and lots of alaias, wax, sunblock, and paipos.

Presumably those who bought the kits and plans have had their minds corrupted, the finished hollow boards are now too expensive for most young people but we did a steady trade inthem prior to the incredible price increase.

I hope that answers your question adequately.

I follow Bruce Lee's advice not to anticipate the outcome of the engagement.

I knew exactly what I was doing, it's ok to find it funny though 8)

Regarding education I have a degree in Philosphy and English, and also served my time as an apprentice.

College equals prison, a complete waste of time.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

So, the earlier allusion to Socrates was right on the money.

Although I passed with flying colours the time would have been better spent surfing.
