Where did you surf today ?

Well I give those at Bondi points for persistence - every day on the cam, regardless of the small size/hardly breaking, people are out there so if it does something good for their headspace in these times then good on them (not sure what it does for the real surfers like us).

Nice conditions and a little swell with a moderate crowd at first. That didn’t stop a tight little crew of guys on foamies asserting their obvious dominance by making sure they tried to catch every possible wave that came through. A couple of guys were in full froth mode.
Hope you enjoyed your surf guys. Pity you missed one or two waves while you were out there. Always nice to see one or two people have a blinder while everyone else frantically tries to squabble over the scraps in crowded conditions. I paddled up the beach and scored a couple. Sharing is caring.

Super fun at Curly. Very low tide making plenty of peaks for the small swell. Way more fun than it looked.

Just had a fun surf on the foamie. Crazy packed. Lucky I had my license to drop in on me. There I was getting all aggro and frustrated when I should have just got into the vibe and burned everyone for the last few weeks. Silly me. Guys who can hardly surf but want to paddle inside you and take off on every wave?

I like your updates beany, don’t get me wrong.
I just don’t expect myself to update every day.
Will add some highlights or irregularities if I feel like it.

I’m still working full time and I actually expect to get busier with lockdown.

I agree. You’re just answering the threads question. You just happen to surf a lot.

Best day of the week yesterday. Wasn’t going to go out due to it being Sunday and my back is a bit stiff at the moment. Anyway paddled out and sat inside for a while as I have been lately. Then decided to sit a bit wide out the back and scored four set waves.
When I came in there was a crew of five young guys on foamies about to go out. They would have taken over the take off completely.

Yesterday nice here as well. Couple little banks. Kinda punchy in the afternoon.

Gee, I’ve been a bit slack here. Had an okay couple of surfs this week plus a couple of days off to give my lower back a rest. The Marauding and Buddy’s advice helped. Thursday was best and very unexpected. Thought I would just float around and tentatively paddle for a couple. Yesterday pretty average but okay.

Surfed pretty much 5 of the 7 days. First time for a while and felt it.
