Both goofy foots. The Narabeen Col had one of the first upside down backhand attacks. It was almost a mannerism plus the famous Col smith brushback hair style.
Newcastle Col was associated with channel bottom boards. Went we'll in Hawaii.

lve been here a week and got two sessions at Rob Machados favourite break, glassy and 2' iggs, with an occasional 3', only a couple out. The lefts at geger ditto.

All other sessions have been racetracks, onshore and bumpy, crowded, 1-2'. Didn't surf one day, it was a big day in town (Seminyak)! with the american dudes I stay with and their bros - funny as fcuk, they take the piss out of each other at least as well as a bunch of ozzy mates.

This is a very sad state of affairs. I don't think I'm going to bother with the wet season again, I'm gonna see if I can squeeze myself in between all the sharks and the onshores in the SW of WA
