What's the difference between Elizabeth Warren & Kamala Harris?
One's pretending to be an Indian & the others pretending she isn't!

Yes, I particularly liked Richard Glover/ Cements involving recounts of the narrative.Drailed wrote:Bloody oath. Re: Ask Carroll
11'6"! Finless frivolity or just a big board to perhaps make a shark think twice?

Re: Ask Carroll
Mick has got more mainstream media attention than any of his world titles out of this incident.

Re: Ask Carroll
It was the most incredible live sporting moment in years and years. End of story. Of course the world news went bananas over it. The shark attacked him make no mistake, mick got totally knocked off his board. It wasnt accidentally tangled in his leash. Its insane he didn't get bit. I see Fanning in the surf all the time, he lives about 1km down the road from me.
Funny how all the most mind boggling moments on the tour in the last few years have been the non-scripted moments like this, the code red and Fiji swell, AI passing.
Hynd is O.G. and a total fiend.

Re: Ask Carroll
Rancho Im sure Mick is a good bloke and good neighbour mate but I am not 100% the shark was intent on eating Mick or even sampling him as Mick said he's not sure on the sharks intentions but when seeing where the leg-rope was cut through after Mick jumped back on the ski its a fair distance from his ankle.
Re: Ask Carroll
The shark precision biting, just softly nudged Micks legs out the way for a nimble chew on his leggie, of course luckily leg ropes aren't really near legs so phew. Agree if there was animal intent this week would have been different, but even an accidental bite could be fatal.
Re: Ask Carroll
When I go to eat my omelette I don't miss. Sharks chase fish and seals to survive was a close call don't see an animal that's developed over thousands of years to kill missing a prone target.

Sharks miss seals all the time RMB.
They also make exploratory bites on humans that aren't fatal or don't even necessarily draw blood.

Re: Ask Carroll
Luck of the draw sometimes I guess.
Re: Ask Carroll
No Doubt they do Steve but they would be reasonably efficient. Mick was prone but in all honesty I cannot prove whether I am right or wrong its just simply a theory from watching what everyone else did. Glad they are ok.
Re: Ask Carroll
I reckon it was Sean.
Probably has gotten sick of being a poncy dolphin and has turned into a gws and was just being a typical big bro and fcuking with his little brother.
