Twice. I guess for me i always had it in the back of the mind that it was a present from a psycho ex so i could never really enjoy surfing it, which is why i bought another 6'1 JS.

If it is cursed and you sell it to someone else then that is bad karma for you (unless the new owner knows how to remove the curse) - I think you should be careful, probably better just to store it where you can keep an eye on it.

my small board is cursed.
i snapped my new one a while back, and switched to the smaller one for a while (i only use it on small days or out the point).
since i made the switch, i have:
1) creased it
2) snapped fin
3) snapped another fin, both reparied.
4) first surf on board after repair (1 week later), attempt 'layback' and board swings around and hits my elbow, dinging it badly on the nose.
5) tape ding, couldt be fucked to fix it, take it out to the point on that little south swell (you know the one...last time it was over a foot. dont even mention today  ) and tear out my H2 (haha lucky a mate gave them to me), and murder the finbox and tail.

:x

oh yes when i first got it, i fucked the deck so badly bill fixed it, then put a carbon patch over it, so i wouldnt happen again

Yeah But ...

'Cursed surfboard' is really about someone setting the curse - either by pure personal power, or through a divinity/spirit/force of nature. Chamberess' ex set the curse - which she is worried might be real. Why?

Whaddidyado!!?? Go on, tell us. He said "I hope you drown." Heavy.

It's not just about burning the eggs after a surf is it? You didn't just borrow his wettie and wee init. (I hope you drown ...!!! Nope.)

You didn't sleep with his mate.
Fart when his parents came for dinner.
Use strawberry wax on his stick. (interpet that as you may)
Ask him to say "I love you." endlessly.

What!!??

What!!??
