Nice off the bottom.

Those top turns are way too drifty and not carved/drivey enough for my tastes.

They need to be carved through, not slid through.

Only the 2nd turn had the slide/drift and I thought that made for good variety.
The spray on turn three was 👌

A foot bigger and I’d like to see what he could do.

Saw some old footage of the 81 Bells Comp where Simon introduced the thruster on YouTube. It’s big and pretty sectiony but it only looks like Simon and Ian Cairns are surfing the waves in a manner that people would expect these days. Everyone else is just trying to stretch as far as they can down the line.

No, he was pissed off with the judging ... when he should have been pissed of with himself for not using his priority to win the heat. Rookie error and poor sportsmanship from the veteran.

Always been a sook.
I think the Brazzos read the socials and believe them.
Like it's not always right but Italo, Felipe, Gabs are all now multiple time complainers when in reality sometimes the judging luck has favoured them and other times they've been on the wrong side of it.

Brazilian mentality (for a lot of them anyway) is they only get the wrong side of it.

Clicked on a YouTube Video about the best places to surf in Scotland and it was obviously AI generated. Heaps of drone footage of various bits of coastline with a couple of still shots of learners waves and video of people splashing in the shorebreak. The narration kept saying various spots were world renowned. Surfing was best in the morning and evening……..to avoid crowds, because waves were always biggest then, etc. This got repeated for every spot. Surfers can practise their expertise at this world renowned spot. International surfers flock to this beach, etc. :D
Basically no footage of anyone surfing or a decent wave breaking. Not even a shot of Thurso breaking although they mention it extensively.

Great to see the rookie take out Bells. Beating World Number 1. He will remember that for ever.

Looks like there was pretty good waves in the waiting period at that place they used to move Bells to.
Adriano still rips.

Rabbit has a new signature board out. Doubt he could surf it himself though and definitely didn’t shape them.

FCS bringing out a few more classic templates (like MF, AM) in fibreglass and marketing it like it’s a new breakthrough after years of telling everyone how good honeycomb, carbon, and hollow fins are.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Most punters wouldn't notice much difference between the different technologies, performance wise.

Exactly. Unless you put a set of keels in or tiny fins they wouldn’t have a clue.🕵️‍♀️
