Loofy's 6'+ and 90kg isn't he? Be a good size.
My JD fish is too much foam for me, ( first one, and I was 7-8kg heavier then ) though it really doesn't seem to have a negative effect. On occasion in some waves there's too much float under my chest as I'm paddling in, and it floats up out of the wave, but it only happens on occasion. Once up and going it's not an issue at all.

Nah, decided it's a keeper. I made more time and worked on my fitness and sorted my neck and shoulder with some physio.
Also decided it's not a board for all occasions. I ride it mostly as a quad now and only if it's offshore/clean. If it's choppy or onshore, the EPS doesn't really handle it.
It's a good part of the quiver, but also need a regular glass board for less than average conditions.

Is that a step up ? You normally surf smaller boards don't you?

Looks like a good step up for my 77kg. I've never ridden sub 19 1/2 before so it would stretch me. Are you in WA are you?
