Tail pad

I want to remove my tail pad. Does anyone know how to do this without ruining the fibreglass underneath ? is there a good solvent that gets rid of the adhesive without affecting fibreglass ?

Mate it's a pain in the butt, I had an old tail pad that was peeling, decided to go the whole hog & just rip it off,

spent hours with the solvents & razor blades peeling it off, still had to wait for the combination of sand and wax to peel it down
