2ft gutless windswell. Rinse and repeat.
Re: Summer

Rename this thread Bummer.
What's the difference between Elizabeth Warren & Kamala Harris?
One's pretending to be an Indian & the others pretending she isn't!

Re: Summer
I’ve still been surfing twice a week just to stay sane. Aside from a couple of semi pulses of mixed in south swell here and there it’s been well below ordinary. Can’t remember the last decent swell we’ve had down here.

Re: Summer
Pumping NE winds from 9-10am.
1-2 foot junk. The odd small pulse.
Deja vu all over again.

Re: Summer
The wind is SE this arvo instead of NE.
That's new.

Meanwhile Victorians sit back and smirk

I am Victorian
Anyway, I've hunted out decent waves for the most part this whole summer on the FNC, including today.
I have been missing a decent groundswell with a true offshore morning though.

Re: Summer
I might be Victorian but I've only surfed westernport once, and that was on a mal at the pines.
Re: Summer
With all the baby boomers and their grandkids I'll bet
Truth be known that place can get pretty big maybe a couple of times a year. I've surfed pines when the swell was cresting over the outer boat markers (would have been 3 metre swell on average) in the dead of winter in a storm and it's pretty amazing.
But there are much better places than there in Westernport, Second Reef and Honeysuckle which are all near the Pines and down at Flinders/Cape Schank way

Re: Summer
Massive storm came through yesterday evening. I watched it coming from the attic for a while. A big band of low heavy cloud with spectacular sheet lightening underneath. Pretty big dump of rain.
