Re: Just general surfing stuff
No one cares anymore about surfing wavepools- it's not editorial. And no way Ubrnsurf would cover my trip as advertorial. When are you going Iggs? the advanced turns setting looks fun. the pitching barrel setting also if forehand. but for 2-foot fake surf in a concrete tub, I'm in no hurry. there a...

Re: Just general surfing stuff
You gonna venture down to test Steve ? I was planning on it Iggs. Son is super keen- to be honest, the cost is a major deterrent now for something that looks smaller and weaker than Tullamarine. Be over a thousand for both of us for a 2hr hit. What if swellnet paid for you to surf and report on it?

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Clean but lumpy chest to shoulder high peaks Maroubra late yesterday.
The 6’2 Gunther twin fin is fast becoming the best all round shortboard I’ve owned for fun and performance. So much speed and flow, and surprisingly great control.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
First surf today in nearly a month after the fin incident.
Waterproof dressing worked well.
Surfed the 6’2 twin at 2-3 foot Cronulla point. Some fun ones at times

Re: Injuries Blog
Yeah I’m not gonna rush it. Aside, fuck mountain bikes and the potential for seriously injury. This joint out western Sydney parklands looks pretty ace but. Saw it yesterday, this is just one part of the tracks. Looks pretty decent! https://i.postimg.cc/W1wNkBmC/IMG-1940.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/vBm...

Re: Injuries Blog
Just to keep it covered in eye-antibiotics until it’s crusted. Then apply betadine . Wait for it to heal / crust over before surfing again.
Look like it’ll be another couple of weeks

Re: Injuries Blog
Yeah, no need to stay out of the water once it's stitched. I had a stitched wound get infected when I surfed on it. It wasn’t a massive issue - just had to squeeze the pus out - but yeah, infected Yeah fuck that. I’m not surfing with it like this. I’ll wait it out until next weekend . Hospital said...
