Spent a bit of time in my parents car outside the Tugun pub. On a Sunday mostly. Pubs were only open for a short while.

A little bit blurry, but a pretty good photo of the man-made waterfall that used to run down beside Greenmount Beach. It was lovely. And yes. He was advised to go fish somewhere else in future. Never saw him again.

Even back before I moved to Sydney, near misses were common there. Including one I saw by the air sea rescue boat which was just training. No emergency. A bigger problem (well, more regular) was the fishermen on the rock casting straight into the crew in the water. One guy got caught through his ear...
