Surfing the early doesn't seem to worry me, whether there are other surfers out or not, but surfing at sunset really puts the spooks up me at times. Think it is beacuse in the morning everything is slowly getting lighter while at sunset it is only getting darker. Was the last one out down at a reef ...

Heard some good reports on Panda boards, also try Haydenshapes I have a couple of Hayden's boards and can throughly recommend him for service and quality.

Your "mate" is ripping you off I reckon.
You should be able to get a better second hand board at any local surf shop or shaper. Talk to them honestly about your ability and aims and shop around.

I have the same Rip Curl watch as Fishy.
Had it for about five years no problems, replaced the battery once.
The rubber wrist band is even still in "new " condition.

Future Fins rear quad fins seem smaller in general then FCS, not sure why this is?

Have you tried the V2 437's in your quad?
I am also using the V2 438's and am pretty happy with them, but a mate suggested the trying the 437's.

Being bit of a grommet at International surf travel I found the site quite good.
The info on the site was better than that provided by some of the surf travel websites.
Criticisms - not a lot of locations listed and the search facility would not work for me.
