Great waves this morning ... very north swell creating lines that ran at a seaward angles down the beach ... the light sth wind held the faces up just enough so they were fast but makable ... biggest sets hit 4 foot but there were consistent 3 footers with plenty of dredgey sections and pits to race...

I have a rooted leg that restricts the flexibility in my back foot / ankle and had a similar problem years back when trying to adjust .... I found that dropping into my stance a bit more shifted my weight a little more over my feet (rather than leaning back) and using the drive from the rail and fin...

I would think overcut and under done. looks like a 2nd too ... :idea: definately overcut looking (not that I'm the expert but I once saw a few blanks being made :wink: and I seen a few shaped ... ) I know that people like to experience a lot of different boards etc. and it's all part of the fun but...

Is that damage to the blank in the first pic as a result of stripping the glass off ... the blank looks sh!t and I would expect that is from the removal process but just curious if it was already full of air bubbles ...

5'11" x 20 1/2 full in the nose for stability and momentum , the swallow provides some extra rail length that also provides some speed which helps the momentum and 'get up and go' aspect ... softer rails through the mid third help it turn flatter which is better for the kids learning ... my daughter...
