DAC2000 - just wanted to chuck in my 2 cents and say good on ya and good luck. I'm full of respect for those that sign up to risk their own lives defending the rest of us. And to all those knocking our armed forces - why? These are normal blokes like the rest of us who have decided to do something ...

I've got a mate in the Navy (clearance diver) ..... he gets the odd surf in, but he reckons that his job is more exciting than surfing. Don't know about that, but he seems to enjoy himself and hes extremely fit. I'm with the others on this one though.... don't join the Army.... go the Navy or Airfo...

I love global warming. They underline - yet again - my fervent wish that I could actually surf, instead of being a surfboard owner who elects not to drown himself on days such as these. Mate, the only way your going to learn is being out there, plus on perfect day's its alot easier to surf than some...

If the crease is on the slick side, chuck it. dont chuck it unless uve snapped the stringer [assuming u have one] cuz all that matters is the flex profile and rocker, if its the same shape and similar feel to b4 than itll go just as good I can be 100% certain that his board will fail in a very shor...
