I've got a mate in the Navy (clearance diver) ..... he gets the odd surf in, but he reckons that his job is more exciting than surfing. Don't know about that, but he seems to enjoy himself and hes extremely fit. I'm with the others on this one though.... don't join the Army.... go the Navy or Airfo...

DAC2000, Navy is the best option if you still want to surf, in particular Clearance Diving, Dive school is in Balmoral at HMAS Penguin, Clearance Diving Team 1 is based at HMAS Waterhen in North Sydney, then there is CDT...
